Andrew Layson, Founder, CPA

Andrew Layson founded Layson CPA in May of 2018. He’s the son of Terry and Beverly Layson. He graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2016 where he received a Bachelor’s in Accounting. In 2017, he received his Master’s in Accountancy from Gardner-Webb University and completed the requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant in March of 2018. Andrew received his Master’s with an emphasis in Taxation, so he can handle even the most complicated tax situations.

Terry Layson, Accountant

Terry Layson has been married to his wife, Beverly, for 40 years. They have three children – including Andrew Layson, founder of Layson, CPA – and three grandchildren. He believes in the value of family and loves spending time with them. His business background began in the mid-1980’s when he started his first business. Through the years, he has established four different businesses. Terry recognizes the complexities of starting and running a small business. He understands that accounting, taxes, and cash flow are hard to comprehend from the business point of view. With his experience, he can help clients make sense of the confusing parts of starting and running a business.
